Southern Comfort and Maple syrup turkey
1 large turkey (15-21 lbs)
3 cups Southern Comfort
3 cups real maple syrup
Preheat oven to 400. prepare turkey (remove neck/giblet bag, rinse inside and out and pat dry). Mix Southern Comfort and maple syrup until well blended.
Place turkey in roasting pan and with baster, cover turkey with S.C./syrup mixture (remove “pop up timer” if present in turkey). Place turkey in oven for 1/2 hour @ 400, covering turkey with remaining S.C./syrup mixture every 10 mins. Lower oven temp to 325 and loosely cover turkey with a aluminum foil “tent” “(put “pop up timer” back in turkey breast if present) Cook turkey for recommended time for weight. (turkey may be done earlier due to pre-cooking @ 400) Use drippings to make a tasty dark sweet gravy (the best part of this recipe in my opinion)

Southern Comfort grilled orange shrimp
Marinade:
1 cup pineapple juice juice from 2 fresh limes
1 tablespoon dill
mix together and marinate shrimp in fridge for 12 hours
Sauce:
2 cups orange marmalade 1/2 cup Southern Comfort
2 tablespoons horseradish sauce 1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
mix together and put in fridge
Alternate shrimp, pineapple chunks and onion on skewers and grill until done. dip in sauce and enjoy!

Southern Comfort or Honey Jack meatballs
1 pound ground chuck 3/4 cup herb seasoned stuffing
1/4 cup Heinz chili sauce 1 egg
1/4 cup Southern Comfort or Honey Jack Daniels 1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons butter
Combine all ingredients except butter and mix well. Melt butter in skillet, form mixture into 1″ balls, add to skillet and brown on all sides over medium high heat. Turn heat down slightly and cover, cook for 5 mins.

4 boneless, skinless chicken breast
2 cups Honey Jack Daniels
1 cup Honey
Marinate chicken in 2 cups Honey Jack Daniels for 12 hours. Mix excess Honey Jack from marinade with 1 cup honey and brush glaze on chicken breast while grilling.
